Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First India 2025 is open for applications! Seed-Series A AI startups (Agentic/Multimodal focus) can apply by June 30th for mentorship, Google AI tools, and tailored support to fuel growth in India’s booming AI market.

India’s dynamic tech landscape, fueled by exceptional talent and a rapidly expanding economy, is embracing Artificial Intelligence with remarkable speed. With projections indicating India’s Generative AI market will exceed $17B by 2030 and AI’s pivotal role in achieving a $1 trillion digital economy by 2028, the government is strategically prioritising AI exemplified by the IndiaAI Mission.

As a part of our continued efforts to support this vibrant ecosystem and contribute to the broader goals of the IndiaAI Mission, with the support of MeitY Startup Hub, we are excited to open the applications for the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First program in India. This year, we are particularly focused on empowering startups leveraging Agentic AI and Multimodal AI, which are poised to play a key role in the next wave of AI adoption. We invite Seed to Series A funded startups building core AI products, applications, agentic solutions, multimodal use cases (including thinking models or reasoning), or foundational models to apply here by 30th June.

The selected startups receive the following support during the program;

  • Mentorship: Unparalleled 1:1 guidance from mentors, industry experts, and Googlers across teams such as Google DeepMind, Health, Cloud, Android, Play, Ads, and Developer X.
  • Tailored Support: OKR-based weekly support with dedicated startup success managers to help you achieve your product, technology, growth, and people goals.
  • Tools and Infrastructure: Access to free Cloud TPUs, Cloud credits (for eligible startups), and the latest Google AI tools and models.
  • Google AI Integrations: Hands-on collaboration with Google AI experts on leveraging Google’s advanced AI models (Gemini, Gemma, Imagen, Veo, etc.) and addressing complex technical challenges.
The program offers mentorship, tools, and Google AI integration to accelerate product development and scale, supporting India's $1T digital economy goal

Applications are open for Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First 2025. Apply by June 30th

Last year’s Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First India program significantly impacted participating startups, resulting in over $61M in cumulative funding, Google Cloud Marketplace integration for expanded market access, and notable product improvements. For example, SpotDraft secured funding and enhanced its AI contract management using Gemini API (reducing costs by 80%, increasing accuracy by 30%, and reducing latency by 70%) and the Google Cloud Marketplace; Kroop AI improved customer engagement by 40% and optimized pricing for its deepfake detection platform; and Merlin AI, a multi platform AI productivity app, incorporated the Gemini API’s long context window, benefiting its 2 million active users with extended chats and document processing. We are excited to empower India’s next leading AI startups through this year’s program.

Partnering with the Google for Startups Accelerator team has been invaluable. Their expert guidance and mentorship on UX, AI integration, and cloud cost optimization streamlined our product development and helped us scale faster. Google didn’t just support us—they became an integral part of our journey.
