ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Underwriting Analyst, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Underwriting team by performing various analysis in order to assist underwriters.

Process incoming exhibits and other documentation required for loan approval.
Assist with the review of field underwriting submissions in preparation for loan committee and final delivery of investor packages.
Assist in the preparation of investment memos for presentation to loan committee.
Perform property and market level due diligence.
Other related tasks include credit, market and real estate analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor’s degree required. Prior related experience preferred but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
Knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
Understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to tackle problems.
Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to travel as needed.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Underwriting Analyst position is $70,000 annually [or $33.65 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Underwriting Analyst position is $80,000 annually [or $38.46 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
