Service Technician

TRS Craft Services is looking to hire experienced Service Technicians for client, a globally recognized leader within the transportation industry with vast use of next-gen technologies.
In this position, Service Technicians are assigned to repair and maintain coaches/ buses. Responsibilities may include troubleshooting, identification of repair needs, and independently completing repair projects, as assigned.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Diagnose and repair one or more areas, such as electrical, HVAC, suspension, mechanical, pneumatic and/or brake systems
- Develop technical skills on an ongoing basis
- Comply with the quality and safety standards of the organization
- Complete documentation thoroughly and timely
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to look up parts efficiently and independently
- Be proficient in electronic data and laptop use
- Diesel experience is a must
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent or graduation from a certified technical school
- 4 years of qualified mechanical experience, substituting one year of related technical training for a year of experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to read and write
- Provide own set of tools
- Comply with DOT physical standards
- EPA certifications for the safe handling of refrigerant
Physical Demands:
- Standing/sitting for long periods of time
- Exposure to local weather variances, however work is generally inside/ under cover
- Lifting heavy objects
