What you’ll get to do…
- Manage and maintain both on-prem OpenStack workloads as well as cloud workloads, AWS.
- DevOps Mindset – help with automation of common operational tasks.
- Interface with customers to help with their operational needs.
- Drive a standardized approach to monitoring and operational visibility.
- Provide on-call support.
- Help build standards and best practices.
- Become a member of a highly effective infra and git-ops team.
Your experience should include…
- Extensive Linux system administration and networking experience.
- Monitoring Tools (Cloudwatch, Elastic, Prometheus).
- Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Github Runners).
- Scripting Beyond Bash (Python, Go, Ruby etc.).
- GoogleCloud or AWS (EC2, S3, ElasticSearch, etc.).
- Configuration as code (CDK, Sceptre, terraform, etc.).
- Patching large fleets, processes/automation.
- Experience in developing/maintaining applications and services.
- Broad technical skills with the ability to dive into the code for reviews
You might also have…
- Project management experience working across groups and teams.
- Experience with agile methodologies/ceremonies.
- Experience/understanding of security best practices and tooling.
