Our client, who is a global player in the multi-tenant residential real estate industry, is seeking a Senior Python Developer to work within a division of the company that focuses on creating cutting edge products for their clients using “smart home ” IoT technology. IoT is not required, so this is an opportunity to learn more & get involved in IoT The role is 90% backend Python dev, using Django and AWS. They are looking for people who have done some combination of the following: 4 or more years experience creating & supporting code that has been deployed in an enterprise environment and is in production; or experience in the design/development/shipping of new SW features or products – having gone through the whole lifecycle.
You need to be able to show that you have designed a significant portion of a feature or a whole feature, and seen it move into production; create new integrations from scratch; know how to look at old code/or a feature and figure out how to make it work better or in a whole new way; and on occassion be willing to serve as “4th Level ” support when levels 1-3 fail and a developer needs to dig into the code to fix a problem – this is rare, but does happen.
Must have skills:
- Python hero with experience using the Django framework
- Ability to write new features – concept to production
- Cloud & DevOps environment experience, ideally AWS

- You should want to learn new technology skills and figure how to use them in your day-to-day
