AS A SENIOR DESIGN MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

Provide visionary leadership to your design team, setting clear goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, and inspiring team members to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

Collaborate closely with with cross-functional partners in product management and engineering to define the product strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs.

Lead by example in advocating for a user-centric approach to product design, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Invest in the growth and development of your team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to help team members reach their full potential.

Maintain rigorous standards of design quality and integrity, conducting regular design reviews, usability testing, and audits to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

Build and manage a team of talented, diverse, inclusive team of product and content designers that consistently delivers on projects and is well-balanced across a range of design skill sets

Oversee multiple projects and scale design resources accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met, your team is effective, and team members are set up for success by setting clear and measurable goals

OUR IDEAL SR DM WILL HAVE:

8+ years of relevant experience in software product design

At least 4+ years of leadership experience managing design teams, including hiring and developing individual contributors with a proven ability to inspire, mentor, and develop talent.

Expertise in designing complex data-driven applications, with a strong understanding of user workflows and information architecture.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to a diverse set of stakeholders

A passion for staying abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices, with a relentless drive for excellence and continuous improvement.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $202,000 – $316,200.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
