The Sr Analyst, Payroll LATAM primary responsibility is to process payrolls across Latin American region (7 countries) in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with local laws and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process payrolls across Latin American region for 7 countries.
  • Maintain salaries, pension, taxes, and social security accuracy in Workday as well as in Payroll vendor’s systems by reconciling the data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Administer the year-end tax filings and disbursement of employee forms for all applicable countries.
  • File and label all confidential correspondence in ‘Box’ accordance with Data Security legal requirements and company policies whilst maintaining WFS Documentation retention policies.
  • Administer Expatriate related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.
  • Maintain the LATAM shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24-hour response time, supporting employees with any pay-related queries.
  • Support all relevant Finance/Accounting teams with reconciliations or general Payroll queries.
  • Maintain close communication with workers unions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate staff: Accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, and People/HR.
  • Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to train and assist junior staff.
  • Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and Management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification
  • 3-4 years experience in Payroll is essential
  • Knowledge on Safeguard, ADP Streamline, ADP Expert and WORKDAY systems highly desirable
  • International experience is preferable
  • Intermediate knowledge of English language is essential
  • Advanced knowledge of Spanish language is essential
  • Intermediate knowledge of Portuguese language is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies
