POSITION:Security Manager
DIVISON/DEPARTMENT:PORK
LOCATION:Ottumwa
SALARY CLASS:Exempt
REPORTS TO:SECURITY SUPERVISOR
HOURS:Days, Nights as needed
1st Shift Saturday and Sunday hours as needed or required.
General Description:
- Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility
- Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff
- Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done be staff
- Complete daily and weekly reports as needed
- Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Resolve employee’s conflicts and issues promptly and objectively.
- Direct communication with company and outside services
- Maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ Supervisory experience
- Previous security related experience required
- Ability
- Ability to handle conflict
- Communication skills –written and verbal

- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
