Job Overview:
The Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in a pediatric healthcare setting. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for pediatric patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment:Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs. Use clinical judgment to identify changes in health status and respond appropriately.

- Collaboration:Work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate and thorough nursing documentation in electronic health records (EHR) for all patient encounters and care provided.
- Compliance:Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines. Comply with legal and regulatory requirements in nursing practice.

Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
- Licensure:Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in [State] is required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and any relevant pediatric certifications are preferred.
