Currently, TIAA has an opportunity for a Senior Security Penetration Testing Specialist. This role will assist with the network or software vulnerability assessments and perform penetration testing utilizing reverse engineering techniques to ensure the security of computer systems, applications, servers, and networks. Under supervision, this job performs vulnerability analysis and exploitation of applications, operating systems, and identifies intrusion paths and methods. This job may also perform analysis of complex software systems to determine both functionality and intent of software systems.
We work in a Hybrid-Flex environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and conduct pen testing engagements using proven methodologies, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to gain access to business data to demonstrate the risks associated with real-world advanced persistent threats (APTs)
- Coordinate with Cybersecurity and outside teams to improve threat detection, response, and improve overall security posture.
- Conducts information security audits on enterprise-wide information systems and infrastructure.
- Continually research new offensive security tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Research and develop new TTPs to add detection alerts, reports, or other monitoring capabilities.

Qualifications:
Required Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in an IT role
- At least 2+ years’ experience with Infrastructure Pen Testing or SIEM use case creation.
Preferred Skills:
- Possess OSCP Certification
- HTB Penetration Testing Specialist Certification
- Prior SOC or Incident Response background

Base Pay Range: $109,000/yr. – $133,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans)
