Essential Functions:
• Assists clients with computer issues as they occur
• Maintains network security, user accounts, permissions, and overall functionality
• Installs computer equipment and software
• Updates tickets accurately and in a timely manner
• Other responsibilities as assigned
• This positions reports to the Technical Services Manager
• “must be able to lift 50 lbs” or “frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50 lbs”.
Qualifications & Experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral communication with clients and personnel
• Self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Work is performed through intermittent standing, sitting, or stooping
• Ability to troubleshoot routine hardware and software issues
• Considerable knowledge of Windows driven software, hardware, networks, etc.
• Ability to assess user needs and develop and implement appropriate solutions
• Knowledge of the variety and application of personal computers and peripheral equipment
• Considerable knowledge of computer systems and of office automation/data sharing and computer hardware and software applications
• Knowledge of local area networks (LANs); ability to assist in the installation of local area networks (LANs) and to install and operate a variety of network related software programs; ability to operate a network server
• Ability to meet project deadlines and to conduct tasks in a timely fashion
• Ability to effectively and efficiently assist in training individuals and groups having minimal computer skills
• Ability to continually learn and keep current on technological skills
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent, two or four year college degree
• Microsoft certifications or related experience in a professional environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MSP experience is nice to have.
