UAA General Support Services is recruiting for the position of Mail Clerk. UAA General Support Services includes the Copy & Print Center, Mailroom/Central Receiving, Surplus & Relocation, and Recycling functions.
Individuals who enjoy interacting customers in person on a daily basis while being out and about on campus will thrive in this role. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and adhere to policies and procedures. A positive, customer focused demeaner is essential.

Intermediate computer operations knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience. Customer service experience and proficiency with the use of computers.
Alaska Driver’s License (must meet and maintain UA safe driver verification criteria). Please specify in your application materials if you have a valid Alaska Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one.
Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus in Anchorage. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 75, based on education and experience.
