Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking for “Java Developer(Production Support)” who could join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Duration: Fulltime with Cognizant
Experience: 6 to 10 years
Responsibilities:
- Perform root cause analysis resolves production issues and support the existing production systems.
- Perform detailed issue analysis backtrack the problem and suggest a solution for the problem to the CoE team.
- Support release of deliverables into production and perform on demand meetings with COE team and Business supporting issues encountered due to production changes.
- Suggest fixes to the complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of root cause and impact to the business due to the issue.
- Provide performance tuning at the functional level.
- Initiate extensive documentation for the production support process improvement.
- Answers escalated questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures.
- Adopts, and implements Technical Support solutions for Transition & Steady State across departments with full competency.
- Acts as a highly competent advisor to their manager, leads and team.
Qualifications:
- This individual must be hands-on and strong in Java core.
- Should have strong knowledge in spring boot.
- Should have strong knowledge in Database (Oracle or Mongo DB)
- Should have Prod support knowledge and flexible to work in Prod support hours.
- Good to have knowledge in AWS/OpenShift Platform
- Good to have React JS, Post Gres skills.
- Good to have Microservice knowledge.
- Ability to communicate well with customer/business teams
