Job Description:
As a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for meticulously documenting current standard operating procedures within Global FP&A, R&D and Enabling Functions Finance.
- The core processes to be documented are around, forecasting, actual reporting, and monthly transaction processing.
- This role will involve collaborating with the current teams to gather information on their current processes, deliverables, and timelines.
- With the end goal of creating detailed documentation around processes and ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documents produced.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams will be key to success in this role.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, strong written communication skills, and a proactive approach to defining and ultimately documenting complex processes.
- Success in this role will be defined by having a thorough overview of current processes that ease the transition of new colleagues into the various roles across Global FP&A, R&D and Enabling Functions Finance.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 5+ years of experience within corporate finance
- Demonstrated experience documenting and/or building Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with various internal stakeholders
- Understanding of corporate accounting functions/processes (GAAP, etc.)
