Responsibilities:
The fabricator position is responsible for assembling finished metal “walk-in enclosures and skid based systems using various manual and power tools, as well as metal cutting and material handling equipment i.e. forklifts and overhead cranes. The fabricator will work with different types of fabrication materials and assemblies such as steel tubing, sheet metal, wall insulation, internal / external wall panels, door systems and roofing materials. In addition to assembly, the Fabricator must have experience working with different fasteners, caulking methods and working in a controlled manufacturing environment with strict safety standards and an ISO9001:2008 quality system.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 10 hours at one time
