Manage a Local and a Remote team of Electrical Engineers using the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM System), to ensure the delivery on time and quality for the designs & Quotes to both production and marketing respectively. Collaborates with the local team to coordinate the support to Manufacturing, Quality, Supply chain and DTV by providing technical and process expertise to solve complex problems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensures the on-time delivery of designs from the electrical team, within the Quality expectations
- Prepare weekly, and monthly reports for efficiency, work capacity, OTD and Quality indicators
- Support the marketing team with on time delivery of quotes.
- Support the design tool implementation strategy.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure conflict resolution and schedule adjustments
- Leads the electrical design reviews for special projects
- Promotes deep engagement of the team
- Uses and promotes the use of the ITM tools for improvements, controls, and problem resolution
- Coordinates and generate training material
- Coordinates the support team to Guarantee that main stakeholders get the support needed
- Define and monitor and recognize the key achievements for the support and design team
- Collects/identify and leads improvements to the process and products
- Collects/Identify and document requirements for system improvements
- Supports DTV and Tool development team in testing and implementations/deployments
- Technical support to Customers Questions
- Collaborates with Engineering Design Manager to coordinate special tasks and enhancements projects

Your Background:
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
Excellent communication and Organization Skills
3-5 + years of Direct Line Management experience
Experience leading multicultural teams
Technical Knowledge on Transformer design and test Failure resolution
