At Carolina House, we believe that everyone should feel safe and welcome while receiving eating disorder treatment, regardless of their race, gender identity, sexuality, religion, or world views. Since 2006, we have been a trusted source for eating disorder treatment for women age 17 and older. Over the years, we have expanded our services to support people age 17 and older of all genders who are struggling with eating disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. The care we provide emphasizes transformation on a whole-person level, promoting healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Our goal is to help each of our clients find the inner strength to make the changes needed for lasting recovery.
Carolina House, is seeking a Clinical Director. The successful candidate in this key position will be responsible for the oversight, development, and coordination of our Residential, Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Programs. The Director of Clinical Services provides direction, supervision, monitoring and disciplinary action for clinical staff and case management according to NC State regulations, CARF, and Acadia Health Care Mission and facility policies and procedures.
Experience working with Eating Disorder Diagnosis. Must have training (course work, in-service education and other on the job training) to provide care to patients in the adolescent and adult age categories in a behavioral health setting.
Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree or above in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or related field required.
- Must also be able and qualified to provide supervision to interns and trainees enrolled in Master’s level counseling programs.
- Must hold a current NC state LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC, Licensed Psychologist
- 2-5 years of experience as a clinical supervisor in an acute hospital setting or residential setting preferred.
- BLS or CPR certified.
- MAB certified
