Reporting to the President of the Wells Fargo Foundation, this position will lead a small team and deploy philanthropic strategies that cross the Foundation’s focus areas for specific segments, strategic relationships and opportunities. This leader will leverage philanthropic, volunteer and business resources to design measurable programs that help communities thrive with financially resilient families, vibrant small businesses, and affordable places to call home. This position can sit in Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Minneapolis, MN; San Francisco, CA or Washington, DC and offers a hybrid work schedule. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. In this role, you will:
- Manage team responsible for national and regional programming initiatives and strategic relationships
- Ideate and deploy innovative cross-focus area strategies to align with philanthropy and community impact initiatives
- Oversee a grantmaking budget to advance objectives for certain segments, such as veterans, across strategic relationships and memberships, and for areas of opportunity, like rural
- Collaborate with communications and marketing on efforts designed to enhance the company reputation
- Assess the company’s effectiveness in helping communities and identify improvement opportunities
- Serve as a spokesperson and thought leader for cross-function philanthropy programs
- Develop relationships with key government, philanthropic, nonprofit and community leaders
- Deliver executive-level presentations that influence decision makers
- Lead and coach a team of geographically dispersed Philanthropy and Community Impact professionals
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Community Impact or Sustainability experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience designing measurable philanthropic strategies that drive change
- Experience managing a grant budget, developing financial projections and analyzing variances
- Experience developing KPI’s and impact analysis for community-based initiatives
- Experience assessing community challenges and barriers and identifying strategies and solutions
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and business cases
- Experience leading, high-performing geographically dispersed teams
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.$120,400.00 – $287,600.00
