Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Procurement Field Representative to support the team in North Charleston, SC.
Position Responsibilities:
- Resolve and close supplier related issues specific to each airplane to enable FAA ticket and customer delivery at the delivery centers.
- Track supplier issues and understand delivery requirements for BFE/SFE parts. Verify that parts ordered are meeting delivery requirements.
- Manage and directing on-site supplier mechanics by prioritizing aircraft rework to meeting production and delivery milestones.
- Managing on-site supplier mechanics and hold them accountable for FOD & Tool control.
- Ensures parts, engineering and materials are in place to produce products.
- Identifies problems and reports status back to the supervisor or lead.
- Communicates across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns.
- Participates with the procurement agent in on-site supplier assessments.
- Identifies areas of improvement and reports back to supervisor.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance or manufacturing
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience working with internal and external suppliers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 4+ years of Procurement / Supply Chain experience
- Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
- Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
- Associates degree or higher
- Ability to travel if needed
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $70,550 – $95,450
