Job Overview

The Associate HR Partner is accountable to deliver the people agenda, enabling a best-in-class employee experience through serving as a consultant to leaders and employees.

Accountabilities

  • Connects, redirects and counsels leaders to a portfolio of HR solutions, partnering across the HR Solutions organization to support business needs
  • Resolve any HR related operations issues through working with different teams and functions
  • Ensures talent initiatives integrate with the broader HR Strategy, and enables the delivery of strategic and operational business plans to create a consistently best in class
    employee experience and generate business value
  • Knows key talent and supports the management of the business talent pipeline
  • Ensure compliance in all HR operations/processes within Japan M&E legal framework
  • Manage Unionized Plant in Japan including Collective Agreement negotiation
  • Go-to person for any ER/LR related discussions and actions for Japan

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ Experience working at Specialist level within HR ideally in an HR business partner role
  • Strong customer focus and employee experience mindset
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Strong relationship, partnership and consultancy skills
  • Comfortable pushing difficult perspectives, challenging and influencing
  • Deep understanding of the organization climate and interventions that create great employee experience
  • Have knowledge in Japan Labor Regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
