Primary Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the build-out of our next-generation data hub, analytical system, and integrations.
Support and maintain data governance and standards under the supervision of senior leadership.
Perform research, analysis, and modeling of organization data leveraging artificial intelligence methods to identify opportunities to improve operations or answer business-related questions.
Partner with the business and business analysts to gather requirements and develop complex reports.
Work with the business to translate needs into technical requirements.
Analyze complex data and create intuitive dashboards that allow end users to visually identify trends and/or key metrics.
Evaluate inbound report requests and collaborate with business analysts to determine the best delivery approach while adhering to established internal processes.
Extract and analyze data to identify and recommend business process improvements, work efficiencies, and influence organizational business decisions.
Create documentation for new or existing processes/reporting functions.
Identify opportunities to automate reports and manual processes.
Anticipate reporting requirements and present additional metrics relevant to meeting predefined goals.
Perform data cleanup activities to ensure data quality and integrity.
Coordinate with business partners, external software development teams, and business analysts to ensure accurate organization data. Maintains data integrity across all applications and provides data to drive business decisions and satisfy informational requests.
Efficiently meet business sponsor and business analyst requirements by developing and implementing new reports and reporting solutions leveraging Power BI and future CRM products to enable end-users to generate accurate and comprehensive data displays from multiple sources.
Ensure data projects comply with best practices, governance, and data policies.
Create, enhance, and maintain reports, including bug fixes, focusing on scalability and repeatability. Customer and business analyst input and requirements will drive report enhancements and bug fixes.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (required)
A minimum of 2 years of experience in building BI reports.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with relational databases and DBMS such as SQL Server.
Demonstrated experience in Report writing software specifically with Power BI.
Demonstrated experience creating ETL (extract, transform, and load) packages to export data to a data lake or warehouse.
Experience with ETL tools specifically Data Factory
Demonstrated experience in enterprise data warehouse solutions, data analysis, database systems, and data visualization applications.
Strong knowledge of SQL
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong data collection, problem-solving, and analysis skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
