As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be providing a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical treating systems. You will take ownership of sites and ensure they have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner. You will be supporting our customers needs across the Permian Basin
In Upstream Chemicals Technical Support, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting customers with technical challenges and chemical applications including integrity management, flow assurance and production optimization.
- Managing field-oriented projects.
- Looking after occasional projects within a lab setting.
- Ensuring transactional discipline and following the job cycle process
- Participating in customer performance reviews and working together with senior leadership team from the business and Specifying needs.
- Communicating about project approach and presenting outcomes of projects.
- Handling standardized project processes, guidelines for choosing the right actions as well as handling diverse clients within the Permian region.
- Contributing to new business tenders

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Chemistry or a Technical discipline or have experience in Technical Support for upstream chemicals in Oil & Gas environment.
- Be a self-starter, good problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with a hands-on approach
- Have good presentation and writing skills
- Be able to build and maintain good relations with our customers, both external and internal
- Be willing to travel and work in the field
- Have the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
