Job Summary
As a Guest Service Host or Hostess, you’ll be a key player in making sure each guest is greeted with a smiling face and has all the information they need about our delicious products. Job Description
- Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
- Experience Desired: Prior experience in restaurant or related field; Working towards a high school diploma
- Education Desired: No High School diploma required
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
- Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of our work, for our Team Members, guests and products.
- Display a commitment to learn about food and share food knowledge with fellow team members and customers.
- Assist with the collection, loading and acceptance of payment for customer pickup orders.
- Help online grocery customers via phone and in person.
- Greet guests and assist them with seating, selecting a meal, and ordering as needed.
- Conduct business, at all times, with a clear understanding that customer service is a significant point of difference for the Company.
- Participate and promote a work environment that embraces diversity, inclusion and respect for Team Members, Customers, Vendors and the Community.
- Handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Provide service to customers in the areas of product knowledge and/or product location.
- Grow knowledge of store operations and layout so the guidance you provide is efficient and accurate.
- Maintain cleanliness of department and work area, including the back room.
- Select, bag and stage online grocery orders for customers.
- Perform other activities as defined by the Leadership Team.
