The Ethics and Compliance professional provides guidance and ensures compliance with the RTX Code of Conduct and RTX policies, leads investigations and supports E&C initiatives.   This role represents the business as a primary resource for all employees at all levels to engage with for purposes of ensuring that the company has a robust and responsive compliance culture.

 

This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the domestic US.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages and provides guidance to Collins Local Ethics & Compliance Officers within the Americas Region
  • Conducts fair, impartial and professional investigations relating to ethics and compliance violations in an expeditious manner, with due attention to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to support training on various ethics and compliance topics.
  • Engages/Collaborates with Human Resources and internal legal team to help resolve ethics and compliance related matters
  • Assists/Leads periodic internal Ethics & Compliance reviews to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
  • Participates on Ethics and Compliance disciplinary action committee meeting and provides sufficient evidence and case information for the committee to determine appropriate actions
  • Supports on-going development and communication of the RTX code of conduct
  • Act as a point of contact for employees to help address a variety of Ethics & Compliance questions or concerns and provides guidance on compliance related policies

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing investigations related to ethics and compliance violations
  • Ability to assess investigative data to help drive the appropriate corrective actions
  • Proficient at prioritizing/managing multiple priorities in an efficient and effective manner based on degree of importance and urgency

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD – 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
