YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic filing, maintain and enter data into company systems as needed
- Assist in the creation of reports and presentations, create and prepare materials and presentations for departmental meetings and monthly reports
- Plan and coordinate departmental events, training sessions, and meetings including communication, scheduling, and catering
- Assist with creation, revisions, and maintenance of work instructions, reports and spreadsheets
- Placing of Purchase orders and Transfer orders from Inventory Analyst, Material Group Specialist and/or Manager
- Enter order confirmations and price updates from suppliers into the system
- Expedite or De-Expedite orders
- Perform updates on purchase orders once order has shipped from supplier
- Work backorder reports to identify alternate suppliers for purchase orders
- Track data for Inventory Analyst, Material Group Specialist and/or Manager including backorders, inventory, and/or overdue dates
HOW TO SUCCEED
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must possess a minimum of one year work experience performing substantially similar administrative essential functions
- Demonstrates intermediate proficiency using Google Mail, Sheets, Docs, and Calendar
- Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrates proficiency with typing a minimum of 50 words per minute
- Demonstrates proficiency navigating and assisting others with navigating web based software systems
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrates effective organizational, time management and follow up skills
