As the Head of Data Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data landscape of our fintech organization. You will lead a team of data architects, engineers, and analysts to design, implement, and optimize our data infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS, Snowflake, and AI technologies. Your expertise will drive our data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring we remain at the forefront of financial technology innovation.
Role Responsibilities
- Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and leverages AWS, Snowflake, and AI technologies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data architects, engineers, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Data Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture solutions using AWS and Snowflake, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
- AI Integration: Collaborate with data scientists and AI specialists to integrate AI and machine learning models into our data infrastructure, enabling advanced analytics and insights.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions to improve efficiency, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust data security measures and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with AWS and Snowflake, evaluating and selecting appropriate services and technologies to support our data architecture.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and business intelligence, to support data-driven initiatives and product development.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in data architecture and management, ideally within the fintech industry.
- Strong expertise in AWS and Snowflake, including data warehouse design and implementation.
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including their integration into data systems.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Salary
The salary range is $132,750 – 221,250 USD per year, total on-target earnings include a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
