The application you will be working on is called ALPS . It is an Accounts Transfer system for moving funds / shares / holdings from one broker to another. Example. If someone has funds in Fidelity but want to transfer funds / holdings in or out of their Robinhood account this application would make the transfer possible. It holds all of the details of the transfer and facilitates the transfer between brokers. It is an ACAT system that they have created for their clients. Get more info in the link below

The system was written by an outside vendor who is no longer there. The code is written in C# in a bit of a complex way using some objects so anyone with Entity Framework would be helpful. The database they are using is SQL Server. So someone who has experience with SQL Server would be helpful
Someone MUST be willing to do more maintenance, support, diagnose, debugging and manipulating existing code that is in production.
SOMEONE WHO HAS WORKED WITH LEGACY APPLICATIONS IS CRITICAL TO THEM AND MUST BE HIGHLIGHTED ON RESUME

They are an Agile shop but not following by every rule. They do 2 week sprints
CLOUD is nice to have but not needed. They have team members to help with that
FINTECH experience is nice, but someone with general banking knowledge may not know anything about this type of application so we can do without having someone with FinTech knowledge. Having general investing knowledge (personal investing is fine – we just don’t want to have to explain what a brokerage account is or what equities, holdings… are.)
