Start and stop cup finishers. Monitor the operation of the machines, checking fluids in mineral oil pots and maintaining cleanliness.
Ensure production of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Remove paper jams and perform minor adjustments.
Assist the Quality department in sorting through finished products at our distribution center as required.
Assist the Blanking and Printing department in sorting through defective raw materials as required.
During label promotions, fill out required documentation that customers require.
Unload promotional blanks.
Assist Material Handler as required.
Help maintain bottom stock.
Remove excess damaged paper stock from the machine tops and clears bottom paper stock from scrap tube.
Empty spoilage boxes from both side wall stock and bottom stock continuously during the shift.
Relieve other Cup Operators and/or Packers during break and lunch periods.
Record mineral oil usage for machines.
Complete a machine operator finishing rounds checklist prior to the end of the shift.
The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift to 40-50 pounds.
1+ year of experience as a Machine Operator.
Schedule:
12 Hour shifts working alternately (36) and (48) hour weeks. B/D shifts work from 6 pm to 6 am
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extn.)
Location: Clarksville, TN
Pay Rate: $19.00-20.00/ per hour.
