Job Description:
The Sr. Group Operations Manager is a vital member of the Global Credit AML and Onboarding Change & Transformation organization. This experienced Agile Product Manager will be responsible for the design & transformation of a loan accounting application that enables E2E credit processes. This role is responsible for the creation of the product vision, roadmap, design, testing, & overall health of an application to ensure business objectives are met. A proven and highly experienced manager this candidate must be able to expertly manage a team of high performing product owners with a focus on professional and career development. This role will lead a variety of activities in partnership with Technology, including launching/expanding new technology solutions, systems integration, & various operational efficiency/workflow improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with cross functional teams across the firm to advance product’s design and strategy
- Set priorities and provide strategy for the team
- Clear hurdles and blockers
- Implement product delivery and development in accordance with product vision and strategy
- Collaborate with partners, peers & stakeholders to ensure successful UAT, communication, and associate readiness of any changes being deployed
- Evaluate to identify opportunities for improvement. End-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem
- Work closely with tech leadership and the vendor to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the operations teams’ processes
- Rally your team and senior stakeholders to your product vision and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem to align to your vision and influence prioritization
- Define KPIs for your product and be responsible for measuring and tracking against those measures adjusting the strategy & roadmap based on data
- Analyze market and operational impact of changes occurring
- Develop project plans including estimates of cost and resources required
- Communicate project scope/strategy to others
- Build strong relationships with business partners & stakeholders across LOBs
- Have an in-depth understanding of the business unit’s operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company
Requirements:
- 3+ years of being an Agile product mgr. and experience being an Agile product owner
- Experience with designing and delivering digital features. Experience in helping to define and build a product roadmap
- Experience in diving into the details with the Design team to uncover gaps and provide direction to deliver a best in class solutions
- Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view
- Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills
- Proven track record of thinking out of the box & creating creative solutions
- Knowledgeable of how to apply digitization technologies to maximize value
- Self-motivated individual comfortable with design leadership of peers
- High level of discernment, analytical skills, and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership to include management and people development skills
- Open, honest, and direct. Knowledge of commercial banking products, functions, and processes
- Candidates should possess superior communication skills and be experienced at gathering and writing business and technical requirements, process design, role definition, procedure development, training, and system testing
- Experience with the Loan IQ/Finastra platform a distinct advantage but not essential
