- With broad direction, provides leadership and direction for a department
- Supervises subordinate team leaders and provides general input into project plans and execution
- Determines strategic direction with regard to policy/procedures, work force staffing, maintenance of specific core competencies and budgeting
- Ensures the strategic direction is in alignment with overall organization and PSL direction
- Candidate shall possess broad business experience and technical expertise into drilling engineering design and operations across different global locations
- Understands and promotes Halliburton’s quality directives and initiates activities to improve service quality and acts in a leadership role with corporate HSE initiatives, represents Halliburton with internal and outside organizations, such as suppliers, universities, and customers
- Assists the legal department in management of intellectual property in area of responsibility
- The selected candidate will be responsible for development of new products as well as the product life cycle management
- In coordination, prepares the business strategy, investment model, vision, and scope of the product
- Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Science/Mathematics/Engineering, and 15 years of experience in oil and gas which includes experience in product management
