The Iron Technician I provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assists Iron Technicians during the disassemble phase
- Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components
- Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections
- Ability to demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Ability to identify SPM and Customer product
- Ability to assemble flow control product
- Nondestructive Testing Trainee (NDT Trainee)
- Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee
- Demonstrates computer skills for the SPM AMP System
- Requires knowledge of SPM products and customer standards
- Inventory Incoming Iron
- Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area
- Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met
- Performs other routine duties as assigned

- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional information:
- Position is located onsite in Waynesburg, PA.
- Schedule: 7a-3:30p, weekends and overtime required dependent on business needs

Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration
- Noise Level: Moderate

Summary Pay Range:$20.85 – $27.95
