Job Description: Big Data Engineering Lead / Architect
Mandatory Skills:
Total 8+ years of experience including 4+ years of relevant experience in Hadoop ecosystem tools especially: Hive, Sqoop, Oozie, Impala, and Hbase etc.
Candidate should have at least 4 years of experience with RDBMS, data integration, ETL/ELT technologies. Exposure on advance SQL and OLAP is plus.
Hands-on experience on Apache Spark development (ingestion, integration) in Java/Scala.
Thorough understanding on distributed computing, data structures and algorithms.
Must have done minimum 2 big data implementations with semi-structure/unstructured datasets
Experience on core Java, java collections and/or Scala programming.
Understanding on Data Lake, Data Hub and Big Datawarehouse architecture
Knowledge of data governance, profiling and quality within big data environment
Desired Skills:
Understanding on Datawarehouse architecture and performance tuning.
Knowledge and experience on data streaming and in-memory computing tools
Understanding on Apache Solr / Elasticsearch and NoSQL data stores.
Knowledge on data discovery tools on big data i.e. exposure on Splunk, Logstash-Kibana etc.
Experience on private/hybrid cloud is plus

Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
