We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Hodges, SC facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes. This role requires a proactive individual who can complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, etc.
What you will do (includes but not limited to):
- Carry out preventive maintenance:
- Analyzing and effecting improvements on facilities because of observations made during preventive maintenance.
- Participating in regularly scheduled maintenance stops.
- Carry out corrective maintenance:
- analyze the malfunction and propose, then put into effect, the best solution. When a repair is done, the incumbent should inform the supervisor and/or production about availability of the equipment and immediately give the repair done.
- The incumbent records immediately the incident encountered in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Help maintenance agents and exterior companies as necessary, carrying out an intervention on-site, in agreement with supervisor.
- Be able to find technical information and contact external suppliers directly.
- Participate in smooth functioning of the spare parts storeroom.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Mechatronics or equivalent experience in an industrial maintenance experience
- Effective communication
- Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge and application of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
Top Candidates will also have:
- Experience working in a foundry (Hodges is a cast iron foundry)
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office, ACAD, E-drawing, QAD, and Llumin is preferred.

Additional Information:
- 2nd shift hours are Monday-Friday 2PM-10:30PM.
- 3rd shift hours are Sunday- Thursday 10PM- 6:30AM.
- Weekend 1st shift hours are Friday-Sunday 6AM- 6:30PM.
- Weekend 3rd shift hours are Friday-Sunday 6PM- 6:30AM.
- Weekend shift works 36 hours but is paid for 40 hours.
- Starting pay for the position is $26-30/hr. depending on experience and education.
- Night shift positions will come with an additional hourly premium.
- This position will come with a $1,500 sign-on/retention bonus (3 installments: $500 at 30 days, $500 at 60 days, and $500 at 90 days).
- Benefits are effective on your 1st day of employment.
- This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.

Summary Pay Range:$26.50 – $33.66
