World Kinect is looking for a visionary and high energy Principal iOS Developer to help drive the development and delivery of our mobile applications. In this role you will work as part of a highly collaborative Agile software delivery team composed of product leads, business analysts, developers, quality assurance engineers and aviation experts.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Designing and building mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.
· Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
· Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
· Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
· Fixing application bugs before the final release.
· Developing user interfaces and coding for functionalities.
Key Qualifications:
· Must be fluent in English both speaking and written (C1)
· Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, the primary languages used for iOS development.
· Proficiency in UI Frameworks such as Swift UI and UI Kit.
· Proficiency with object modeling and persistence frameworks such as Core Data.
· Experience with code versioning tools like Git, and Mercurial.
· Experience with unit testing using XCUnit.
· Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
· Experience with logging using observability platforms like New Relic and Data Dog
· Experience managing the iOS release cycle and the CI/CID platform and pipelines with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure Pipelines and Bitrise.
· Experience with reactive programming such as ReactiveSwift or Combine.
· Functional knowledge of API architectural styles, and technologies such as REST and graphQL.
· Functional knowledge of feature flagging practices using tools like LaunchDarkly, ConfigU or Split.
· Functional knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML, leveraging identity management providers such as Auth0, Okta, and Firebase.
Education
· 6 plus years’ experience and BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or a related discipline or demonstrated similar experience.
Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements
· Flexible work arrangement (remote or hybrid).
· Occasional travel of short to moderate duration for training, team building, industry trade shows or customer support.
· Must be able to work core business hours 9-3pm EST.
