Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Middleton, UK
Salary: £28,000
The Role
- 1st/2nd line IT support
- Exposure to and growth into a cybersecurity position
- Using the helpdesk system to log calls and progress notes
- Take ownership of your open tickets and manage through to resolution
- Contribute to the company’s award-winning IT support by providing outstanding customer service and going above and beyond for your customers
- Being a key player in the 2nd line team and mentoring the more junior staff as and when required
- A very exciting opportunity which will allow the successful applicant to get hands-on with some great exciting Cyber Security projects, as well as the IT infrastructure and support side of the managed services
You should have experience of:
Windows Server, Office 365 Stack (SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams), Virtualisation, Backups, Antivirus, Firewalls
You should have a desire to work with:
Penetration testing, vulnerability testing, Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials +, SIEM, Dark Web monitoring, IT security consultancy, network security… and everything else that falls under the cyber sec banner!
