About the Team/Role

Looking for a highly motivated Release Engineer with a strong Software Development background. Your background should include but not be limited to PowerShell, YAML, C#, SQL, Azure DevOps administration and automation utilizing AZDO API calls, JIRA, GitHub, native CI/CD, Groovy, pipeline development/orchestration. This foundation will you give you the tools required to easily execute tasks with minimal direction. If you are self-sufficient, proactive developer looking to be a part of a growing team of innovators and developers then this is the role for you.

How you’ll make an impact

• Experience deploying modern software in the cloud

• Deep understanding of the Microsoft technology stack

• Worked in and alongside agile teams to deliver software iteratively

• Are intimately familiar with CI and CD concepts, best practices, and leading standards

• Azure DevOps Administration; Azure DevOps Services API 

• YML pipeline development (Strong YML development knowledge)

• Azure GIT; GITHUB + native CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

• GROOVY 

• PIPELINE Orchestration

• Development background (In order of importance)

• Visual Studio 2019, 2022 

• C# and .Net Development 

• Ansible

• PowerShell 

• Docker

• VBScript

• SQL

• Automated testing integration into pipelines

• Atlassian JIRA 

• Administration

• versioning standards & release management

• workflow

• portal customization

• Confluence

• (General Code analysis tooling)

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX’s total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
