We are seeking a visionary leader to drive our Enterprise Applications Automation initiatives. You will spearhead McKesson’s next generation of intelligent automation. This strategic leadership role combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, with a particular focus on strategic ERP ecosystem optimization and cross-platform automation solutions such as next-gen AI/ML platforms, Power Automate, and Automation Anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the enterprise-wide strategy and roadmap for automation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Advanced Technology Implementation: Spearhead the deployment of generative AI, machine learning, and automation tools to improve business processes and deliver measurable value
- Governance & Risk Management: Establish and maintain governance frameworks for automation, ensuring security, compliance, and risk mitigation
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with business and IT leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement impactful automation opportunities
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies to enhance automation practices and unlock efficiencies.
- Global Team Management: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across geographies, promoting operational excellence and collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 13+ years of IT architecture and PMO experience and 6+ years of leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience)
Critical Skills
- Proven track record in leadership roles within enterprise applications automation
- Deep understanding of modern automation platforms (Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) and AI/ML technologies
- Ability to understand and anticipate the impact of process changes across a large enterprise and help teams navigate through the change
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Peoplesoft, Workday, Salesforce, etc.) and related automation tools
- Strong foundation in digital transformation and large-scale project delivery
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Experience in digital business transformations and managing large-scale multi-million-dollar projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures
- Experience working in an agile & virtual team environment
- Experience delivering technical solutions and platforms for internal and external customers
- Experience with SAFe Agile, Lean Six Sigma (or local equivalent) principles

Education

- 10+ years of experience in automation, digital transformation, or enterprise technology leadership
Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Travel (Team meetings, conferences, site visits, etc) – Up to 30%
