U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Lead Software Engineer (Multiple openings) in Horsham, PA. The Lead Software Engineer is responsible for partnering with key technical and business stake holders, requirements gathering, design, develop, build, deploy and support software authentication products and services; extreme automation, testing, code review and quality control; This position supports continuous integration/deployment tools, leveraging best practices in DevOps. Specific duties include: (1) designing complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms, and performing software application architecture functions; (2) creating and reviewing unit and test plans as well as creating detailed software program specifications; (3) analyzing and resolving complex technical problems related to applications; (4) managing interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations; (5) monitoring operating efficiency of existing software application systems and recommend technical solutions; (6) working with frameworks including Encryption, Cryptography, SSO, OAuth, Certificates, Hashing, LDAP, SAML, MFA, OIDC, and FIDO2 along with Java Spring Framework, Systems Engineering, Web Services (RESTful API’s, JSON), JMS, SOAP, Technical Documentation (MS Word/Visio/PowerPoint); (7) working with Kafka, Spring MVC, Spring Core, JPA, JDBC, Hibernate, Tomcat, JBoss, Maven, and Junit; (8) implementing GOF Design Patterns libraries, services, and applications with greater understanding of Java fundamentals, and limitations of JVM; (9) working in OOPS, SOA, REST, GraphQL, Microservices, HTML, CSS, and JS; (10) working in NoSQL databases including Cassandra, and MongoDB; and (11) conducting technical reviews on application design artifacts, epics/user stories/tasks, test plans, test results, deployment plans, and tabletop scenarios in support of Web Apps. This position utilizes the following tools and technologies: Postman, Confluence, JIRA, Git, TFS, Jenkins, GitLab, Splunk, AppDynamics, ELK, Selenium, Appium, React, C# ASP .Net, Scrum, Kanban, full stack software development, Java, Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, J2EE, XML, Web Services, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Logging mechanism (ex. Log4J), Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, HTML UI, CSS, JavaScript, Mobile Application (using Android, C#, J2ME), Eclipse IDE, visual studio and IntelliJ. This position supervises approximately 10 subordinates, job titles include: Developer/Engineers and Software Engineers.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, or Computer Science and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience supporting continuous integration/deployment tools, leveraging best practices in DevOps.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 36 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) designing complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms, and performing software application architecture functions; (2) working with frameworks including Encryption, Cryptography, SSO, OAuth, Certificates, Hashing, LDAP, SAML, MFA, OIDC, and FIDO2 along with Java Spring Framework, Systems Engineering, Web Services (RESTful API’s, JSON), JMS, SOAP, Technical Documentation (MS Word/Visio/PowerPoint); (3) creating and reviewing unit and test plans as well as creating detailed software program specifications; (4) analyzing and resolving complex technical problems related to applications; (5) conducting technical reviews on application design artifacts, epics/user stories/tasks, test plans, test results, deployment plans, and tabletop scenarios in support of Web Apps; and (6) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Postman, Confluence, JIRA, Git, TFS, Jenkins, GitLab, Splunk, AppDynamics, ELK, Selenium, Appium, React, C# ASP .Net, Scrum, Kanban, full stack software development, Java, Angular, ReactJS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, J2EE, XML, Web Services, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Logging mechanism (ex.
