What you will do
- Lead Quality Excellence: Oversee operations to ensure all products consistently meet or exceed quality standards, including compliance with cGMPs.
- Champion Compliance Initiatives: Drive adherence to safety, quality, environmental, and operational documentation requirements, including FDA, ISO, and company-specific standards.
- Empower Team Development: Provide employees with robust training and growth opportunities, while monitoring and ensuring timely completion of e3 training.
- Drive Business Insights: Facilitate impactful business performance reviews (e.g., “Board Reviews”) to highlight progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Innovate and Improve: Lead problem-solving efforts and implement process improvements, including lean methodologies, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Optimize Resource Utilization: Ensure the efficient and cost-effective use of materials and supplies to support operational goals.
- Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners (e.g., Sales, QA, Finance, HR, IT) to improve responsiveness and operational effectiveness.
- Execute Strategic Management: Oversee multiple offices, including recruiting, training, scheduling, team development, and implementing positive recognition programs, while fulfilling additional duties as needed.
What you need
Required:
- Bachelors’ degree or 6+ years of professional experience
- 4 years of experience in one of the following areas: logistics, operations, distribution, customer service experience or manufacturing
- 2 years of prior direct people management or supervisory experience
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend(s) and evening(s) as needed
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and an ERP system
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Lean tools (Six Sigma, Visual Management, Value Stream Management)
- Experience in analytics, problem-solving and process improvement orientation
