As an Software Engineer in Data Center Operating Systems you will support our vision to provide right parts to technicians at the right time to facilitate the accurate and timely execution of tasks, including ingestion, repairs, installs, preventive maintenance, and decommissioning. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to hit the ground running. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, customers, and other engineers to help bring our software to fruition. You will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to system architecture and feature development. Key job responsibilities
– Own, design, build, and deliver technically challenging projects
– Grow more junior engineers and be force multiplier
– Identify operational challenges early in the system and drive operational excellence
– Contribute to and lead the improvements in development processes
– Insist on highest standards for the long term system extensibility and scalability
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
