The Sr Analyst, Payroll LATAM primary responsibility is to process payrolls across Latin American region (7 countries) in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with local laws and regulations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process payrolls across Latin American region for 7 countries.
- Maintain salaries, pension, taxes, and social security accuracy in Workday as well as in Payroll vendor’s systems by reconciling the data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Administer the year-end tax filings and disbursement of employee forms for all applicable countries.
- File and label all confidential correspondence in ‘Box’ accordance with Data Security legal requirements and company policies whilst maintaining WFS Documentation retention policies.
- Administer Expatriate related payroll activities and coordinate with external tax vendors as needed.
- Maintain the LATAM shared Payroll Inbox, working to a maximum 24-hour response time, supporting employees with any pay-related queries.
- Support all relevant Finance/Accounting teams with reconciliations or general Payroll queries.
- Maintain close communication with workers unions.
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate staff: Accounting, Internal Audit, Financial Planning & Analysis, and People/HR.
- Maintain SOX controls and coordinate annual testing and reporting with Internal / External Auditors.
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing software systems, and procedures.
- Ability to train and assist junior staff.
- Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and Management
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree level or possess an equivalent level qualification
- 3-4 years experience in Payroll is essential
- Knowledge on Safeguard, ADP Streamline, ADP Expert and WORKDAY systems highly desirable
- International experience is preferable
- Intermediate knowledge of English language is essential
- Advanced knowledge of Spanish language is essential
- Intermediate knowledge of Portuguese language is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook, and willingness to experiment and work with new technologies
